Balcony Open House
Friday, September 3, 2010 at 05:56PM Red is one of those colors that can be difficult, but I have fallen in love with this red/tan/brown combination. When Jill at the Balcony told me to chose a fruit or vegetable for my open house display, I jumped at the chance to work with the color scheme and chose cherries as my fruit. Millie and I brainstormed ideas and put together a cherry engagement shoot.
For the open house, we wanted something that felt organic to cherries and old-fashioned americana. We focused on a bluegrass/ straw hat/ american country feel.
We talked Harborside Event Rentals into building these great wooden tables. There will 15 of the ready for rental this spring! We are so excited!!

I love old wagons and this one just seemed to fit!

We wanted something cute for the DJ's backdrop so we hung records and cowboy hats from the ceiling.

Adorable cake by Nicki's cakes.
